Job Summary: The Radiology Attendant assists in the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring smooth workflow, patient support, and proper handling of radiology equipment.
Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Radiology Attendant based at RHC Shagram, Upper-Chitral in Chitral Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain radiology equipment and rooms for procedures.
- Assist radiologists and technicians during imaging procedures.
- Ensure patients are properly guided and positioned for radiological exams.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and procedure areas.
- Manage inventory of radiology supplies and report shortages.
- Safely handle and transport radiological films, images, and reports.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital infection control guidelines.
- Assist in record-keeping and documentation of patient data.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric, diploma in Radiology preferred
- Basic knowledge of radiology equipment and safety procedures.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a radiology or hospital setting preferred.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus.
- Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information.
- Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change.
- Shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods.
