Qualification:

• Reputed Engineering Institue /  Geosciences degree 

Skills:

• Ability to design and plan Onshore vertical and deviated wells.
• Hands-on experience of working at Onshore Drilling Rigs.
• Congnizant with Well control techniques and procedures.
• Fimiliar with casing design and well planning software.
• Ability to work and deliver in a challenging enviroment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly report to Manager (Drilling)
• Fully understand and familiar with departmental goals and Company structure / strategy.
• Participate, establish and manage the well planning, well engineering procurement, logistic and executaion phase of drilling & work over programs.
• Prepare well design including casing design, mud system design, bottom holy assembly design,  drillling programs, Bit selection criteria and all drilling operation related programs.
• Prepare technical sketches and drawings of Casing Floats, Liner Hangers, Drilling Tools and other operational items.
• Preparation of well prognosis & estimated drilling time breakup. Perform well engineering calculations.
• Collect information for offset wells drilling history.
• Finalize rig sizing & selection after approval.
• Prepare and / or review well drilling program & casing / liner running programs.
• Finalize economics & authorization for expenditure (AFE) of Well.
• Monitor daily drillling operation cost verses drilling plan cost.
• Ensure proper coordination with the service providers and contractors for the smooth running of the operations.
• Manger resource with sufficient-lead time, personnel and inventory to ensure that necessary skills and equipment are available when required.
• Prepare scope of work & technical evaluation of bids for procurement of material and ensure availability of required drilling equipment & long lead items.
• Prepare and / or review end of well report, action review report and other drilling related reports.
• Verification of daily drilling operational invoices for service Companies.
• Liaising with equipment and service provider to ensure all equipment and rental tools are delivered as per required delivery schedule at rig site.
• Monitor the technical performance of service contractors against agreed indicators.
• Familiar and work on drilling software Landmark EDM, Open Wells, Casing Seats and Stress Check.
• Follow all  operational instructions / tasks from Manager (Drilling)
• Manage all activities under the control in conformity wity Company's health, safety and environment and security policies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations or lectures to students and industry professionals on Drilling related topics.
