Objective:

To lead and support business development initiatives aimed at promoting and scaling renewable energy solutions in the project target areas. The Business Development Officer will focus on identifying new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and driving the adoption of renewable energy technologies within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth market survey to identify trends, demands, and potential clients in the renewable energy sector.

Monitor policy and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy industry in Balochistan.

Develop and implement a business development strategy to expand the reach and impact of renewable energy initiatives.

Identify and engage with potential partners, including government agencies, private sector companies,

NGOs, and international donors.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure business development activities align with overall project objectives.

Support the planning and execution of renewable energy projects by providing business insights and market data.

Assist in monitoring and evaluating the impact of business development efforts on project outcomes.

Develop and execute communication strategies to raise awareness of the BCRE project and its impact.

Organize workshops and seminars to disseminate knowledge about renewable energy technologies and business models.

Develop strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability and scalability of renewable energy initiatives.

Measure and report on the social, economic, and environmental impact of business development activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Renewable Energy, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, project management, or a related role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

Skills:

Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics. Proven ability to develop and manage partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Language: Proficiency in English and local language is required.

Preferred:

Experience working in Balochistan or similar contexts. Familiarity with the regulatory environment for renewable energy in Pakistan
