CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) seeksa motivated and detail-oriented Program Support Intern to assist the Team Lead in the day-to-day coordination, documentation, and communication efforts of AAWAZ II project. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and development sector operations. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.

This internship is ideal for individuals who demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills and wish to grow professionally in the sector

Project Coordination 30% of time

support the Team Lead in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and progress against work plans.

Assist in organizing logistics for project activities such as events, workshops, and field visits.

Follow up on action items and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Help maintain up-to-date contact lists and schedules for meetings and site visits.

Conduct desk research and compile background information to support planning and implementation.

Administrative Support 35 % of time

Liaise with admin and finance teams for procurement, payments, and logistical needs.

Maintain organized project documentation—both digital and physical.

Provide general administrative support including setting up meetings and calendar coordination.

Assist in compiling documentation for compliance, reporting, or donor submissions.

Coordination and Communication 30% of Time

Maintain reporting calendars and trackers to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.

Collaborate with program teams to collect success stories, case studies, and lessons learned for inclusion in reports.

Engage with program teams and external partners to facilitate smooth information flow and communication.

Take minutes during meetings and track decisions and follow-ups.

Responsibilities as Assigned 15% of Time

Support the documentation and archiving of project reports and supporting documents.

Attend and document meetings, preparing minutes and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions.\

Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AS ASSIGNED  15% of Time

A) Qualifications (Know How)

Required:

Master’s degree in project management or business administration or a related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).

Or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience/Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Urdu.
