Job Brief
We are looking for a well-mannered, energetic, and customer-focused Waiter to join our team at a reputable restaurant in I-8 Markaz, Islamabad. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, a neat appearance, and the ability to provide excellent table service. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling customer requests, and maintaining a clean dining area. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Timings: Full-time (12 hours shift)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
  1. Order Handling & Serving
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ensure correct orders are delivered to the right customers.
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction during the meal.
  1. Table Management
  • Prepare tables before guests arrive (cleaning, setting up cutlery, etc.).
  • Clear tables promptly after guests leave and reset for new guests.
  1. Cleanliness & Hygiene
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area at all times.
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards as per restaurant policy.
  1. Coordination
  • Work closely with kitchen staff, cashiers, and other team members.
  • Communicate special requests, allergies, or complaints clearly.
  1. Billing
  • Present bills, handle cash/card payments, and return the change accurately.
  1. Upselling & Promotions
  • Suggest daily specials or promotional items to customers.
  • Encourage add-on orders such as desserts or drinks.
  1. Professional Conduct
  • Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
  • Be polite, respectful, and calm under pressure.
  • Follow all restaurant rules and protocols.
