Job Description:

The position is responsible for conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative research on gender parity issues by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant data. It involves identifying trends, disparities, and key challenges in gender equality through statistical analysis and evidence-based assessments

Main Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on gender parity issues.
  • Review and synthesize existing research literature within the field.
  • Assist in developing and refining data collection tools.
  • Conduct data cleaning and analysis of information received from provincial departments and district offices.
  • Work with the Director (Program), Statistician, and Senior Research Analyst to draft the Punjab Gender Parity Report and other research products.
  • Draft summaries, reports, and policy briefs based on data analysis and academic literature.
  • Assist in the regular review and refinement of thematic areas and indicators within the GMIS Indicator Framework.

Advocacy & Communication:

  • Assist in developing the GMIS Advocacy Plan based on findings from the Punjab Gender Parity Report.
  • Develop presentations related to GMIS, Punjab Gender Parity Report findings, and other PCSW initiatives.
  • Conduct research and draft speeches to be delivered by the Director (Program).
  • Work closely with the Director (Program) and Graphic Designer to develop communications materials related to GMIS.
  • Maintain PCSW’s presence on social media and promote GMIS through digital platforms.

Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work with the IT Director to ensure regular updates to GMIS.
  • Coordinate and maintain an effective flow of information within the team.
  • Attend events and training sessions relevant to GMIS.
  • Assist in organizing events, meetings, and developing related materials.

Fieldwork & Capacity Building:

  • Conduct awareness sessions on GMIS and women's rights.
  • Undertake field visits as required with approval from the Program or any other authority

General Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to SPO policies, promote participatory culture, and demonstrate SPO values.
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO.
  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
